This post is a video I created years ago that shares different views of death. When I created the video I was not trying to tie in Bailey’s Ten Evolutionary Groups, but they would apply here.
Regarding Bailey’s Ten Evolutionary Groups then we might consider my various categories to be related to the following.
Death is Nothing = Group Six with their intelligent and materialistic tendencies.
Death is Getting into the Right Club = Groups Four and Five who are more tribal in identity.
Death is Evolution = Group Six & Seven (Bailey’s Aspirants in Group Six and Probationary Disciples in Group Seven) who are trying to take a more intelligent approach to the afterlife, but struggle with the idea of reincarnation.
Death Equals Evolution + Resurrection = Groups Four and Five will tend to the resurrection bit without questioning how it works. Group Six will most likely reject the entire resurrection process unless they can “clone you” someday, which is a way of saying they will believe in it when they can prove it. Group Seven may believe in this but especially at Bailey’s Chela in the Light stage they will want to figure out how it works, without having to see resurrection as cloning per se, but done through other spiritual means.
Death Equals Evolution + Reincarnation = Similar to the above. Groups Four and Five will tend believe in reincarnation, but won’t try to understand how it works much. Group Six will most likely reject the notion of reincarnation, since it is even harder to prove and they don’t have any “cloning” models to draw from. Group Seven may believe in reincarnation, but especially at Bailey’s Chela in the Light stage they will want to figure out how it works, doing research and investigation on it, though their research will more than likely be rejected by those in Group Six.
Death Equals Evolution + Reincarnation Leading to Resurrection = Groups Four and Five will tend to reject this more synthetic view because it goes against their “have to pick one or the other to be in the right tribe” beliefs. Group Six will most likely reject this because they are materialists and we “have no proof” of either reincarnation or resurrection. Group Seven may find all of this interesting and especially Chelas in the Light may start to intellectually research it. Group Eight is trying to do more than think about all of this, and is trying to learn can you actually make this happen. Groups Nine and Ten we are told are making this happen meaning they have supposedly reached the point where they don’t need proof, because they are working on creating the “mayavirupa” or “resurrection” body themselves, and/or are increasingly in touch with beings who can do this.
