7/12/21.  This blog has now shifted again. Older posts are still available, but the focus is now on the books that these posts over the years have become.  Those books are now for sale as part of the Journey of Spiritual Realization series. They are a refinement of years of writing on this blog and personally on my own bridging the following systems of thought that have influenced me: 1) Theosophical teachings from Alice Bailey, Helena Blavatsky, Annie Besant, Paul Brunton, Lucille Cedercrans; 2) Integral Yoga teachings with those from Sri Aurobindo and Sri Swami Shivananda; 3) Integral Movement teachings including Ken Wilber and Don Beck the founders and others (as the movement has gotten quite large); 4) Additional influences such as Paramahansa Yogananda, the 14th Dalai Lama, Robert Thurman, teachers from the Transpersonal Psychology movement, teachers from various Esoteric Traditions and others!

The overall purpose? To do my part to create a synthesis of ideas primarily for the purpose of furthering an understanding of the new spiritual psychology.

ABOUT DR. LISA LOVE

Lisa2016To give you a general background on me (Lisa Love), for starters I was raised in the Christian tradition and found myself to be a natural mystic. In my teens, I became interested in psychology and parapsychology. That led me to attend college in 1978 where I furthered my studies in psychology and also took a number of classes in comparative religions. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in psychology in 1982.

Between 1982 to 1984 I furthered my education in psychology, receiving my first Masters in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling. In 1984, I became aware of the Ageless Wisdom teachings as put forth by two women — Lucille Cedercrans and Alice Bailey. Since that time a majority of my life has been spent seeking to understand their teachings and attempting to apply them in my life in a practical and not just a theoretical way.
