CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: Receptive to Soul Light

This post starts to detail some of the spiritual challenges that those at the 5th subplane of the Mental Plane go through including discerning between what is known as the “astral light” and the “light of the soul,” beginning the process of recognizing what Bailey calls “glamours,” the process of mastering emotional reactions more, and working with criticism.

CHAPTER TWENTY: Chela in the Light, Introduction

This post begins to take a look at the 5th subplane of the Mental Plane that I have associated with what Bailey calls the Accepting Discipleship stage and her Chela in the Light stage of spiritual development. Here the mind is being trained to be increasingly receptive to the Light of the Soul leading to going through what Bailey calls the First Initiation and later in another post I show correlations with the Integral model.

Quick Summary of Group 6

This post gives a quick summary of Group 6 who represent those who are able to dominate others and fulfill their desires for better or worse. On the light side, they become humanitarians. On the dark side, they become sociopaths. However, whether working for the light or the dark they are still immersed in the world of the five senses, something that will only be overcome more in Groups 7 & 8. Quick Summary of Model and Groups 1 – 3

This post gives a quick summary of Groups 1 – 3  who are not very prevalent on our planet today. All three groups find it difficult to survive and navigate the world around them, though Group 3 is learning to get what they want more by recklessness and force, since they lack the emotional control and intelligent activity to get their desires met in other ways.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: Correlations to Theosophical Model

This post concludes Chapter Ten by bringing correlations of Group Seven with the Crisis phase of the Technique of Integration, and how Group Seven and the ideas of Alice Bailey match up with the models of spiritual growth and evolution as put forward by both the Theosophical and Integral movements.
