Before we become a Soul in the Ageless Wisdom teachings we have to learn to become an Integrated Personality. According to Ageless Wisdom and Integral theorists, few humans have reached this stage. What does it mean to become an Integrated Personality? What will humanity look like when it gets there? This book takes a look then at what it means to become fully human.
As a reminder we do not enter the stage of Chela on the Thread until a number of other tasks have been completed. These include: Dispelling Glamours; Developing Impersonality; a deep capacity to Cultivate Love; a blending of the Mystic and the Occult, or head and heart approaches to the Divine; Engaging in More Effective Service With a More Humble & Loving Heart; the ability to Discern Between Higher and Lower Psychic Powers; and the achievement of Group Resonance. The summary of these previous posts related to the stages of Accepted Discipleship and Chela on the Thread are mentioned to help establish a deep sense of humility before we move into further discussion.

Perhaps one of the most controversial parts of the Ageless Wisdom teaching, if not the most controversial, is the notion of Masters. Who is a Master? What does a Master look and act like in the Ageless Wisdom tradition? How is this different than what other spiritual traditions have to say? Is it possible to be open to the notion of a Master without falling into glamour or delusion? We are One. That is a popular phrase for many to assert, but much more difficult to live. To use a Buddhist phrase, it means increasingly we need to become sensitive to “dependent arising.” To put it another way, ALL sentient beings arise together. No one goes it alone. The more we sink into this realization the more even the notion of individual enlightenment fades away, as we understand all the interconnected elements that lead to any one sentient being’s success.
