Before we become a Soul in the Ageless Wisdom teachings we have to learn to become an Integrated Personality. According to Ageless Wisdom and Integral theorists, few humans have reached this stage. What does it mean to become an Integrated Personality? What will humanity look like when it gets there? This book takes a look then at what it means to become fully human.
It has been many years since I started this blog comparing the Ageless Wisdom teachings to those of Integral. Since then my understanding has deepened greatly since apart from this blog I have been writing what is now turning into three substantial books on these comparisons.
Once again after even more extensive research I am updating the master chart I have been creating comparing the systems of Alice Bailey and Ken Wilber (Ageless Wisdom vs Integral).
As those of you who have been following this blog know, I keep updating the main chart I am using of Levels and Terms pertaining to the Alice Bailey and Ken Wilber levels. Here is the latest version.
This post summarized the idea of what contact with a Master looks like in regards to the writings of Alice Bailey and then goes on to examine some of the potential pitfalls of the “Guru/Disciple” relationship borrowing primarily from the writings of those within the Transpersonal, Integral, and Buddhism field. These writings are particularly invaluable because they come from the real life experiences of those who have lived out these relationships, especially in modern times.
